Ricky G. Mason, Architect, AIA

Co-founding Partner and Principal, Ricky Mason is a licensed architect with more than thirty-five years professional experience in architectural design, site planning, document preparation, cost estimating, bidding, construction administration and project management for a variety of project types including experience as owner and builder in the design-build of private sector custom and speculative housing and professional office projects and experience in the design of pubic sector municipal government city hall, library, police and fire station building retrofits, renovations and additions and downtown revitalization project types with project budgets ranging up to twenty-five million dollars.

Professionally Ricky is attentive; forthright; disciplined and accountable; a creative detailed and tenacious hands-on problem solver with knowledge and understanding of construction means methods and materials.

Personally Ricky is mild mannered and gregarious; a golfer and an avid surfer and lover of the ocean.

Office Responsibilities include the day to day management of the Sausalito Studio; overall management of the firm's day-to-day administrative operations, and co-management of the firm's new business development and project design, document preparation, coordination and quality control.

Project Responsibilities include day-to-day client liaison; management of contracts and consultants, design and document coordination and preparation; governing agency liaison and project representation; bidding and construction administration.

License to practice architecture is maintained in California-C11867.

Memberships are maintained with the American Institute of Architects (AIA); and International Code Council (ICC).

Education is a Bachelor of Architecture Degree, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, CA, 1975
