CITY HALL INTERIOR TENANT IMPROVEMENTS

The Project includes renovations to a two-story building and grounds as first phase of City’s master plan to relocate City Hall and public services from temporary structures to permanent facilities located on a single campus style site. The building previously used for professional offices is 20 ksf and the largest building located on the Fountain Square Drive site purchased by the City from the Kroeger Family. The interior parti designed by Ricky G. Mason, AIA for Collaborative Design Architects re-uses the double loaded closed loop circulation plan inherent to the building to locate offices for mayor, city manager, staff offices and conferencing and public meeting rooms along the outside perimeter and locate gallery, reception, permit services, council chambers, storage and restrooms in the building center. The simple parti makes the point of service and transaction of city business easily identifiable and accessible to the public from the main building entry and conveniently accessible to City staff. The scope of work includes selective demolition, wall / ceiling frame and finish, interior doors / windows, casework, countertops, floor coverings, hvac, electrical and fixtures, furnishings and equipment.
