The Project is phase two of a two phase multi-family speculative condominium development. The site is located just east of the downtown business district on a flat to steeply sloping street to street lot with neighborhood and City views and includes a two story medical office building to remain as part of Phase one and a surface parking lot.
Phase-Two planned and designed by Ricky G. Mason, AIA for Collaborative Design Architects replaces the surface parking lot with ten condominium dwelling units over a parking garage. The dwelling units range in size from 1150 sf to 1300 sf and are configured to provide visually interesting interior volumes in two story loft style layouts including three one-bedroom one and one-half bath and seven two-bedroom one and one-half bath floor plans with laundry hookups. The building parti is organized about a linear circulation corridor to separate access to the dwellings from access to a semi-private open space courtyard. The on-grade single story garage connects to the phase one garage and provides a total fifteen parking stalls. The exterior architecture is designed to provide a visually interesting streetscape scaled and detailed to conform with prevalent neighborhood architectural vernacular.
